Its funny, Plymouth couldn't give those ugly things away when new! A local dealership had one for so long that they started using the interior as storage for engine parts as it sat in the back of the lot!

Yeah, it did not sell very well. Way too much money for a dorky looking car. Time and people with more dollars than sense have changed that.

Usually a "rare" vehicle is rare for a reason lol.
I have even heard stories of dealers having to remove the spoiler and put a standard road-runner or charger nose on them to get them to sell.

I will say, I wouldn't mind that L88 vette though...

I don't see why the superbird fetched that much, I mean I love them but still over valued. Same with the Vette. But then again all things at BJ are. If I had the money to get into the super rare car world it would take something super special for me to buy at a BJ auction.

Didn't notice it before, but I really like that front lip/fender combo.
Damn. I just really like this whole car.

The "rare" and "one of a kind" Corvettes and Camaros at B-J are totally ridiculous. Apparently every 69 Camaro is worth 100k.

They are out of touch. Must be the name that brings out the money.

I love the look of those things and I would totally buy one

Yeah. I think of they have some of the rare racing packages that were super expensive, and made in limited production(ie JL8 cross-ram Camaros, early cowl induction cars, etc) they are justified in some of those prices, but it seems like everyone with a Z/28 thinks the car is worth 80K regardless of condition or originality.
